The FINISH (Financial Inclusion Improves Sanitation and Health) Mondial programme was launched in 2009 with the objective of diffusing safe sanitation systems (i.e. toilets with proper treatment of waste produced) to low-income communities in Bangladesh, Ethiopia, India, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda through mobilising funds from end-user households. Through coaches and trainers in these 6 countries FINISH Mondial works with sanitation entrepreneurs and supports them in developing a sound business capable to provide sanitation services for affordable prices.
From 2018 to 2020 cewas has supported the FINISH Mondial programme by executing Training-of-Trainers (ToT) and by co-authoring the Learning Guide for the Entrepreneurship Support Programme: Small & Growing Businesses - Manual for Coaches/Trainers.
