Together with Berytech, Chemonics Egypt and IWMI, cewas is operating the Water and Energy for Food (WE4F) Regional Innovation Hub for the MENA Region on behalf of USAID, SIDA; BMZ and the Dutch Foreign Ministry. The WE4F is scaling mid-to-later stage enterprises, who have environmental and social impact and produce more food while using less water and energy. In addition to high-level technical assistance and investment readiness support, participating innovators receive up to 300’000 US$ in grants or soft loans. As cewas, we are part of the management team. We are taking care of communications, knowledge management and partnerships and our most senior experts provide technical assistance to solve scaling challenges of the participating 50 innovators.
