The GGGI Cewas Green Accelerator - Jordan supports entrepreneurs and enterprises in building, adopting, and scaling sustainable business models across the governorates of Amman, Irbid, Mafraq, and Zarqa. The programme empowers local businesses to develop green solutions that respond to Jordan's most pressing environmental challenges and creating new economic opportunities along the way.
Through tailored mentorship, technical assistance, capacity building and grants up to 20k USD, the accelerator helps businesses strengthen their viability, grow their impact potential, and advance toward sustainable growth. The accelerator also, aims to improve the enabling environment for innovation, contributing to stronger ecosystems and more sustainable market conditions.
A Partnership for Green Growth in Jordan
The GGGI Cewas Green Accelerator is implemented by the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) and Cewas, in collaboration with and funded by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). Together, the partners combine green growth expertise, water and environmental entrepreneurship know-how, and long-term development cooperation to unlock growth for sustainable enterprises in Jordan.
The programme delivers support through two distinct tracks. Track A, the Green Enterprise Accelerator, supports green businesses, start-ups, and MSMEs offering products or services that enhance sustainability or mitigate climate impacts. Track B, the MSME Transition Accelerator, is designed for micro, small, and medium enterprises committed to adopting more sustainable practices and reducing their negative environmental impact.
Our Role
As part of the global Cewas network, we bring deep expertise in water, sanitation, and environmental entrepreneurship to the partnership. Through this programme, we support a portfolio of 22 businesses across Jordan, working closely with each to scale their business models, grow their impact, and strengthen their readiness for sustainable growth.
